IWG’s ability to punch so far above its weight is down to being incredibly pragmatic and focused in its advice. Getting the deal done is absolutely crucial, as long as it’s the right deal for the client.

Being pragmatic does not mean IWG compromises on the technical aspects of its advice. We aspire to quality in everything we do and we encourage all members of our team to ask questions, of clients or colleagues, in order to fully understand all aspects of a given scenario to ensure that we are tailoring our advice completely to the requirements of our clients.

From a lawyer’s point of view, working in a smaller firm has advantages. Several lawyers who started as trainees have gone on to become partners and have enjoyed a broad variety of work. That has enabled them to develop a wide range of skills, in contrast to larger firms were there is often pressure to specialise much earlier.
