The IWG Vacation Scheme

Ingram Winter Green is a modern firm, with its eyes firmly on the future.

We view our trainees and assistant solicitors as the partners of the future, and the future of the firm. We have always looked to promote from within, in preference to lateral hiring.

We typically take in one or two trainees each year and have former trainees at all levels of seniority in the firm, from newly qualified to partner. The best route into a trainee position is through the firm’s vacation scheme.

The purpose of the vacation scheme from our point of view is to have a look at you as a potential trainee solicitor. Do you have the necessary technical ability? Do you have the right people skills? Would you be the right fit for our environment and clients?

In return we aim to give you a true and fair insight into what life as a trainee solicitor at Ingram Winter Green might be like. We can’t tell you in advance exactly what work will come your way during your week, but we promise to keep you busy with a genuine cross-section of the work the firm does.

Pay

We don’t pay our vacation scheme students, but we will meet your travel costs and lunch costs while you are with us.
